Description

Fresh, vibrant carrot juice made in minutes — sweet, bright, and naturally energizing. Two easy methods: juicer or blender + strain.

Ingredients

Scale

2.5 lb (1.1 kg) fresh carrots, scrubbed (peel if not organic)

1/2 lemon, juiced (optional, brightens & preserves)

1/2-inch (1.25 cm) fresh ginger, peeled (optional, for a warm kick)

1/2 cup cold water (120 ml, blender method only)

Instructions

1. Rinse and scrub carrots well. Peel if not organic and cut into 1–2 inch pieces.

2. Juicer Method: Feed carrots (and ginger, if using) through juicer. Stir in lemon juice. Serve over ice.

3. Blender Method: Add carrots, water, and ginger to blender. Blend on high 45–60 seconds until very smooth.

4. Strain: Pour through fine-mesh sieve or nut-milk bag. Press gently to extract juice. Stir in lemon juice.

5. Serve & Store: Enjoy immediately or refrigerate in a sealed glass jar up to 48 hours. Shake before serving.

Notes

Add apple or orange for sweetness, extra lemon for brightness.

A drop of olive oil helps absorb vitamin A.

Freeze in ice cube trays up to 3 months for smoothies.

Limit to 8–10 oz per day to avoid carotenemia.
