Ingredients

2 inches fresh ginger root

1 inch fresh turmeric root or 1/2 tsp ground turmeric

1 medium lemon (peeled)

1/2 apple

Pinch of black pepper

12 tbsp water (optional for blending)


Instructions

1. Wash all ingredients thoroughly

2. Peel lemon and cut apple into small pieces

3. Juice ginger, turmeric, lemon and apple (juicer version)

4. For blender version: add ingredients + water and blend until smooth

5. Strain through fine sieve or cheesecloth if desired

6. Serve immediately for maximum freshness
