4 oz semi-sweet chocolate
1 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt
1 teaspoon espresso powder (optional)
1/2 cup chocolate chips or chunks
1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
Melt butter and chocolate until smooth.
Whisk sugars into melted chocolate mixture.
Add eggs and vanilla, whisk until glossy.
Mix flour, cocoa powder, salt, and espresso powder.
